Once again, Happy New Year to all of you!!!

You know what really makes me wonder? I was just thinking the other day whether this blog has been useful or is it just another burden that is added... I had hoped that some of you would just blog whenever you feel like it... a place that you can pour out your burdens... and others when they read it, would tab encouraging words.... Yeah! That is the main reason and purpose of this whole blog thing.

Some of you would ask - why go through the trouble of typing out my thoughts, well, remember that 2 are always better than 1 and iron sharpens iron... you learn to be more encouraging, more expressive (this is so important because many pple are frustrated as they feel that others do not understand them!!) Of course not asking you to be melancholic and pessimistic, it is in fact teaching you to SHARE your burdens and your JOY. I've grown to learn that if you are willing to share, pple are willing to hear, can we really be pple who will love one another?- for WHO WE REALLY ARE (God will mould us to be more and more like Jesus, that's another reason why we are in Church). Its no use talking about love when we don't know how to love.

Guys, you must first love yourself before God can step in to change you. Do you love yourself for who you are, the way you think, the way you do things? time to think about this if you never think about it before. Do you accept yourself for who you are? If the answer is no, then do something about it. I rem that i really do not love myself so i tried to hide... and you know what, until your real self has emerged and been exposed, then will you truly be changed by God and His word. Until you have truly acknowledged your weakness and let go of your false identity, then will your life be changed.... until you are truly broken down before God... I am not talking about breaking your own bones or physically being wounded.... but I am talking about yielding your life, your whole life, your entire life, giving yourself completely to God---- your thoughts, your attitude, your relationship, your finances, your time, your body and most importantly... your HEART.

Do you love God from your heart?
If you do, it will show in your actions and like what Teehou said, in every "little things" that you do. I am talking about the "little things"... "little". Cos in life what counts are the "little things" and you become a "bigger person" inside(your character) when all is added together.

Hmm.... ponder upon this... this has been my burden cos I always feel that the generation now is so different from where I grew up. I love trying out new things, I wanted to do everything I can while I am still young because you will never have another year where you will be 13, 14 , 16, 18 or 21 again. What do you do with your time??? Majority of it probably is sleeping, then studies... what about time for God?(ministry, cg, svc) time for family? time for friends? time for rest and relax?(shopping, movies,sports) time for TV? (some of you spend most of your time here) time for computer games? Use your time WISELY because guess what.... that is your life... if you waste it, you are wasting your life away... Start to do some planning!!

In the next few blogs... I would love to see your goals that you have set for this year. You can let your blog be as long as you want, there is no word limit you know... can you take the TIME to sit down and blog, to think and to type out... and please do a spelling check!! Never ever do anything that is not your BEST, read through your entry to make sure you understand what you are saying, to share with your friends in the cg. So that we can keep you in prayer and encourage you to reach out to your goals. Don't be shy or afraid to share, because when you share, you start to open up to the many doors and opportunities that others can help you to reach your goals. There are just some goals that you can never reached with your own effort, you never know but you will need the help of others!!!

So let us see your goals!!!

hey guys. erm its chi new year yea. a happy new year to all members!! had a wonderful week again. becus its the day the Lord has made and i will be glad in it. amen? haha. erm jus came back after my attributes dinner. erm, nth much to blog here, but i wan to thank God tat he's been real gd to me. like the building fund, i actually received 10x even before i finish giving. God also has been giving me opportunities to lead. like in bball, ive been teaching others and conducting trainings, organised games for ministry, and even a team leader now in cg. Praise the Lord!

all i really wan to say is tat, bear a gd, glorious testimony in ur sch, ur workplace!! really go and study the word, understand why every little things u do count. becus God sees. mustard seed lik faith moves mountains! start praying and receive a vision frm God of wad He wans u to do! dn be impatient, and always start frm small! -teehou

these 3 subjects are the most difficult ones amongst all the CTs..

Totally agree with Fengheng, students, well done for the effort put in. Can i say that i am really very proud of all of you 'O' levelers!!!

Came across this poem the other day while packing all my old notes and stuff... i believe it will interest you.... was just thinking should put it up. This is probably more applicable for the more mature bunch of u, while for all you youngs girls, read it for your reference... dont understand, come ask me... but ponder and think about it... POEM OF LOVE

Hey guys, today was the release of the 'O' Level results. I think we should all give everyone a big hand for their efforts. Even though personally I wasn't too satisfied with what I had, I felt I put in my best already. And when you've put in your best, there're no regrets (:
Well of course the dependency of whether the results are good or bad is really on the individual. Cheer up guys and let's move on in our lives! I scored an average L1R5 of 13 points and L1R4 of 10 points.

Praise the Lord for my results! I thank Him for helping me all these while. In case you guys didn't know. This was how my results were before this.

Okay i'll end this blog entry with an encouragement for all students. Study hard and shine for the Lord in school. Your results will be a testimony of God's goodness in your life, only then can you be a person of influence. For all of you out there who think that studying is hard, think not anymore.

Can you believe that it's already the first week of Feb... seems like time just flies and CNY's just around the corner... again!!! i guess i'm really getting a little old...hmm not that old but definitely ageing over the yrs.(some of you will agree with a loud 'Amen' huh?!!) thinking about it, it seems quite scary, well i guess that's how it is.... life.

Been a rather tiring(old pple gets tired easily one, lolx!!) week but felt that it has been fruitful and finally understood the verse "Faith without works is dead"(can anybody tell me where this verse comes from?**** answer's at the end of this entry...DON"T YOU PEEK UNTIL YOU"VE TRIED YOUR BEST TO LOOK FOR THE VERSE)... well, not like i've not experienced the power of this verse before, just that sometimes, in your christian walk, you tend to forget about the basic principles and you are just doing things for the sake of doing it. you will not always be super spiritually but it gets you thinking sometimes whether the word, is it still working today... well... tried, tested and it is proven, that the word of God is still working today!! ("Amen!" to that) not sure how i could describe this but well, like what Sun(pop singer cum our Senior Pastor's wife in case some of you are wondering who she is) said that for things that is within our control, God expects us to work very hard for it, for things that are out of our control, God will work His miracles. i totally agree with her!!

Something that i've learnt is this guys... growth is not our business, it is God's business to bring growth and increase into our life and our cg. We, on the other hand, got to just do what we ought to do... that is to take care of our own spiritual life. how??? guess you should know the answer. so guys, just focus on the Holy Spirit, as my fren put it.... be "kaypo" about what the Holy Spirit wants to do.

Something i've caught from Pastor Ulf is this- "If we walk in our Godly capacity, Satan is no match for us!!!" and if we were to ask the Holy Spirit for more, He will reveal to us what we want to see, the full power of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit!!! let's really be part of what the Holy Spirit wants to do and always be ever ready should there be a time that we got to rise up to stand for what we believe in.


By the way, the answer for ****the verse appears 3 times in the book of James chapter 2, in verse 17,20 and 26.

Well, it has been a pretty ghastly week lately... Tend to be so absent-minded recently, and worst i embarked on numerous adventures in wonderland during classes. Haha, one should be optimistic and look at the brighter side of life :) At least, I got to paddle a T1 ( Tourer 1 seater) during canoeing and capsized once ( haha capsizing can be quite fun). However i can't really toss the boulder that I am carrying until the release of my 'O' level results, hopefully(keeping my fingers crossed!!) I can stay in my current JC with my other friends! Anyway, lets ready ourselves for Rev. Dr. Ulf Ekman, both mentally and physically! Oh, good luck to those who would be receiving the 'O' level result!!
